Facebook is one of the most popular social networking sites on the internet at the moment. With nearly 300 million users and growing Facebook is the place to go to market products. One the most amazing aspect of Facebook is that most of the users are 30 plus in age. Let’s have a look at how people can use this wonderful site to make a profit.

Be regular

You need to be active and make post up comment regularly. That doesn’t mean that you make a post every five minutes. It means that throughout the day you make about 6-7 post. If you post to often people will get tired of seeing you push your product and turn off.

Do not be too pushy

Don’t push your product to hard. While mentioning your products is good, the best way to make money online through Facebook is to be sociable. If you’re just seen as a pusher, then people will stop following you. This then means you have to do more work to get more people to follow you.

Link to your web page or blog

It is important that you link your Facebook account to your web page or blog. No matter what you are selling if you want to make money online, you need to have links to the products. Just mentioning what you’re selling is of no use if people can’t click through to it. You need to have a link on your Facebook page and your posts need to have links in them. When you have links in your posts people can then read what you have written and click the link without any hassles.

Improve your followers

Getting followers on Facebook can be easy. However, getting quality follower can take a bit of extra work. The key to being able to make money online with Facebook is to get people that are interested on your topic. The best way to get high quality followers is to find and follow people who are already following others that are promoting a similar product to you. It can be slow at first, but it will get quicker over time.

So if you are serious about using Facebook to make money online, it is important that you are active, but not push. You have links to you web page or blog so that people can follow them. Finally you need to have high quality followers that are likely to buy your products. If you have all of these elements working then you have a good chance of success. Take a look at an example via the link below.

In less than a month it will be Christmas. The one time of year when everybody should be happy, giving and joyful. Yeh right. Christmas is the one time of year when stress and anger go through the roof. The one time of year and people get abusive and start fights over the smallest problem.

There are few reasons for this level of stress and anger. The first is that it is the end of the year. Everybody is tired and looking for a break. After a long hard year the idea of a few days or weeks off is really appealing. The only problem is that it is still a few weeks away and we just want it now.

The second problem is that we need to go shopping and buy everybody presents. People we don’t see or talk to all year have to have presents bought for them. And what do we buy them? Another set soaps for Aunty Dot and the new version of the Koran crossword book for long lost Cousin Saddam (why hasn’t he written?), and it’s the same thing every year.

Then there is endless circling of shopping centre car parks to find a parking spot. Like birds of prey circling a kill, everyone is ready to pounce, using their cars as weapons. Then once you get your spot and head inside you have to fight through the crowds just to get milk and bread, or being dragged from shop to shop as you still can’t find that perfect present for mum.

And if that’s not bad enough you have to listen to endless jingles and Christmas song that have be recorded to death and redone by some artist that is only trying to cash in this year. Jim Barnes, Keith Urban, Brittany Spears please just stop, and not just with the carols either.

However this is nothing compared with the day itself. Most people dread Christmas day as they know it will bring arguments and fights. Relatives cranky or physical over a wrong word or sideways glance. A Christmas ruined by someone that didn’t know better, act their age or should have kept their mouth shut.

I wish I could give you a magic wand to help wish away all the problems, but we need to remember it’s the adversities that we face in life that make us stronger. You can use Christmas this year to build your patients, tolerance, and forgiveness. Let’s face facts, that is what the season is all about.

Be patient with those people in the car park, tolerant of the crowds in the shops and forgive those people who can be as patient or tolerant as you. As for the gifts for Aunty Dot, remember it is the thought that counts. If somebody gets upset over the present you give, it is not a reflection on you, but an indication of their selfishness. Forgive them and move on.

As for being tired and worn out from a long year, try and take time out before Christmas to relax. If everything isn’t perfect by the time the family comes around, it’s not the end of the world. They will still love you anyway.

There’s no doubt about it. Internet Marketing can be very hard and tricky when first starting out. In fact a lot of people that try internet marketing often fail. However, I would like to share with you today a few tips on how to make it as an Internet marketer.

1. Blogs. Blogs can be fun and interesting when done correctly. Many blogs are also free. I know some people that just use blogs to promote and sell their own material. I have also seen some blogs that run without any input from the owner. They collect their own information and post it up to the blog and then promote it on social networks. This is very quick and easy way to make money.

2. Forums. There is a double benefit with forums. One, you can trade information with other people interested in what you are promoting and learn some great stuff. The second benefit is you can promote your products to the people in the forum. By being in the forum the participants have shown that they are already interested in that topic and more likely to buy your product.

3. Social Networking. There are thousands of social networking sites on the internet and they are all growing. From social bookmarking to chat rooms, social networking sites are a great way to build relations with potential and existing customers. Every business needs to have good customer relationships and social networking cannot achieve this but make it fun as well. Plus you have the ability to promote your product as well.

4. Videos. Since the speed of the internet has grown, there has been an incredible rise in the amount of videos posted on line. Nearly every major search engine hosts its own video sites and there are hundreds of other sites catering for various need and niches. People love seeing new and interesting videos, and normally they can surf these sites for hours. So having a video on these sites promoting your product can really increase sales.

5. Learning. This is not a promotional strategy but a requirement of all businesses whether they are internet based or not. The key to success in any business is constant learning. There will always be new products and ideas and you need to stay up to date with what is going on. Not only that you need to revisit what you already know to ensure that you are still doing things correctly.

That you give you some ideas on where to market your products. There are thousands of sites to choose from and it can be daunting. The best way to tackle where to start is one spot at a time, Use only one blog site, one forum, one social networking site and video site. Once you have learnt what to do there, then you can expand onto other sites.

The most important thing is to keep learning. Take action and keep reading. Then you will be on the path to success.

Terry Shadwell invites you to visit his blog at http://terryshadwell.blogspot.com/ Here there are more great articles about motivation, blogging, affiliate marketing and other money making strategies. There are also free tools and ebooks that will help you improve you sales online. http://terryshadwell.blogspot.com/

Most people that meet now day would probably say that I am an extrovert. Always on show and love attention. However, would you believe that only ten years ago I would have been considered shy? I used to be really shy and it was keeping me back from doing a lot of things and meeting a lot of people.

I was afraid to talk or introduce myself to people. I was scared of what they would think of me. If the person was a female of the opposite sex then I was as good as useless. There was no way I would go up and talk to her. She may tell me to get lost or laugh at me.

It took a while to learn that my shyness wasn’t about because I am a timid person, it was because I lacked a strong believe in myself, my appearance and my own confidence. I was a strong believer in self doubt. In fact it was so strong that it crippled me in a couple of areas. The only thing that I had going for me was I knew that I had to change.

That need for change kept on build until I was 27. At that time I was overweight, long hair and living with my parents. My friends were all fit and health, married or dating people and living in their own houses. Instead of feeling like a young man that could tackle the world, felt, and acted like a little boy.

The problem with that was I was content to stay there. I would have been happy to allow things to be done for me and remained immature. Again this was due to the lack of confidence and shyness that I was carrying. Fortunately, a rather nasty comment about my weight snapped me into action.

In a period of 4 months I lost 20kgs through walking, eating properly and a wee bit of weight lifting. I then decide to cut my hair. In fact I went from hair half way down my back to a number one. This all made me feel better and build my confidence, which then gave me strength to move out of mum and dad’s place into my own home.

I then decided to go out with some friends one night and when they first saw me they were stunned. Some could hardly believe it was me. Their positive comments about my looks, my weight and even my attitude helped to build my confidence. I even had enough confidence to talk to a woman.

I was kicking myself for taking so long to get to this point. I couldn’t help but think about all of the opportunities I had lost in those years of self doubt. I decide that that would never happen again. I was determined to make sure that I never hid away again and never missed another opportunity.

So I came up with a simple set of questions that can be applied to any situation. The first is, “What will happen if I don’t do this?” The second is a “What will happen if I do do this?” In relation to a talking to a girl, if I don’t talk to her, then I never know if she does like, or if I had a chance to get to know her better. Could I spend the rest of my life regretting not just saying hello?

What would happen if I did talk to her? She may like me and I may get to know her. Alternately she may say she is not interested, but at least I would know where I stood and I could go talk to somebody else.

So I say to you, don’t let shyness stand in your way. Build your confidence, take chances and talk to people. Ask yourself the same questions I still ask myself and start having a life you will enjoy living.

When I first heard about affiliate marketing and other forms of making money on the internet I was quite impressed. New that the thing to do was learn as much as possible and then apply what I knew.

My first real attempt at making money online was via eBay. Over a period of 7 months I did quite well, however, there were a few problems. First was I was drop shipping. While not a bad way to get started, your profits are not as great as they could be as other people are always trying to undercut you. The second problem I found was fees. EBay fees chewed up what was left of my profits and I was doing a lot of work for very little.

My second attempt was a twofold approach: my own web page and eBay. I wrote my own eBook and recorded a motivational course. The plan was, sell the eBook on eBay, then through emails drag people over to my web page to buy the course. It was a great plan. Kind of.

To compete in the eBay eBook market I had to sell my book for $1. I also had to put the book on to a disk and post it. The disk and postage were over $1 each time I sent one away but that wasn’t a problem. I was happy to take a loss in return for sales of my course.

While I got plenty of sales on eBay, I got none of my course and for the next 7 months I went nowhere. You would think by now that enough was enough, but no. I refused to give in. I refused to give up my dreams. Giving up will never get you anywhere.

So I took some time and revised what I was doing. Why eBay was good it wasn’t good enough. I knew my whole problem was marketing and that I needed to learn more about how to market on the internet. That was when I bought my first course. It was good and taught me a lot. Then I bought my second and I was blown away. I then got my third, fourth and fifth.

By the time I got my fifth course I was pretty well ready. I shut down my web page and decided to start again with just affiliate marketing. I knew that to be to make money on line I had to be good and marketing, regardless of the product.

So for the last 5 months I have been applying all I know about affiliate marketing. I am slowly building my lists, but not yet had any sales. That’s not an issue as I am about to launch a big push in the next few weeks. Yet through this all, not matter what I read about marketing or what courses I took there has been something that people are not telling. A little secret the big boys were keeping to themselves.

All the people that promote affiliate marketing are willing to tell you how much they have made, how little they work and how you can do it too. Yet none have ever gotten to the real truth about the money they made. They tell us that affiliate marketing is the way to go but they don’t tell you about the benefits in selling your own product.

They want you to think that affiliate marketing is the way to go so that you will help promote them. They are hoping that you will be so over whelmed by greed you will just follow blindly along. However, if you notice that once you sign up for a course you will be constantly emailed by the course provider about how you can get their mates course or a new one they have just put out.

You have just joined their mailing list. They will promote under the guise of the next best thing or doing you a favour or even giving you a special deal. All you really are is another email to try and get money out of later. Now they and their mates will be able to use you for their own affiliate marketing needs and product promotions. They’re double dipping.

I am not angry about this, but I want to warn anybody that is going into affiliate marketing to be careful. Don’t put your trust in affiliate marketing alone. Yes it works but you can make so much more by copying what the big boys do. You need to promote your own course/product.

By some PLR material and sell it. Get the emails and then you can promote your products and any affiliate program you want to your list. This is a better way of making money. At least now you have two chances, not just one.

What’s my plan now? Simple, run my own web page, undertake my entire internet marketing strategies, sell my own products, build my list and double dip just like the big boys. I may even revisit eBay and get some more people from there.

It quite easy to see that this system works, and I am not one for bucking the system. And if I feel bad about this at all I’ll just requote my mantra, “Do I want to be right, or do I want to be rich?”

Terry Shadwell.

Money, money, money, making it is not funny to a lot of people. In fact for most people can find it quite hard to make extra money. In today’s society it can be hard to make ends meet. So let’s look at some simple ways to create an extra cash flow into your life.

1. Save. You need to put away about 10% of your pay once a week. 10% will be hardly noticed out of your pay. This is just the basic rule. In fact if you speak to most of the millionaires in the world they will tell you about how important saving money is. Most millionaires are not good at spending money. They are good at saving money and that is where you need to be.

2. Part time job. This can be great. If you are willing to take on an extra job and work a few more hours then you can really make some great cash. Plus you put that into your saving account and you really start to see the bank balance go up. Sure you have to give up some time but you need to decide what the trade off will be. More money less time, or less money and more time? Your choice. But giving up 3-5 hours extra week is not that hard.

3. Overtime. Like a part time job over time can be a great way to raise extra money. If done properly you can add an hour’s worth of overtime a day and not even notice. This can be of a morning as well. If you want to work some extra time and still have time with the kids then an early start can be quite good. Plus most people work better of a morning than afternoon.

4. Garage sale. These are great. Last time we had a garage sale we made a tidy little profit and that help to pay off a credit card. Now we are ready for another garage sale. Remember you have collected some much over your life. Do you really want it all? Get rid of the stuff that is of no use to you. Pick a day and run your garage sale. Some people have made thousands. You will be surprised what some people will pay for your junk.

5. Affiliate marketing. This is normally promoted as making money while you sleep. This is far from the truth. Sure you can have you business running why you sleep but you still need to attend to it and work it like a regular business. But unlike to others above, you can make a lot more money from this and even use it to replace your job. Personally I like this one the best. However, it’s not for everybody and a lot of people have tried and failed.

So it’s now up to you. There are of course other ways to make money, but these are some of the easiest ways to get started. So get started and let’s start making some money.

You hear a lot of people talk about affiliate marketing and how it is the be all and end of online money making. However it is not all smooth sailing. Sometimes there are some major issue that arise and if you’re not ready for them you may just be force to have a good time

1. Staying at Home. Here is the worst thing. Imagine not having to get up and go to work every morning. What a drag that would be. You don’t have to drive in heavy traffic, you don’t have to find a parking spot, and you don’t have to sit in an office with other people who are unhappy. Can you honestly say that you are willing to give all of that up? Do you really just want to stay at home and run your own business in comfort?

2. Setting Your Own Hours. I think most people are like me and love to hear that blaring alarm of a morning. It helps to remind us that we are not in control of our lives. With affiliate marketing you could give up your alarm and sleep in everyday. How horrid. You could set your own hours, working when you want. You can even set the amount of hours you want to do. Disgusting. Where’s the feeling of being a slave to the clock? How would you exist?

3. Being Your Own Boss. Now this notion is just wrong. You are not allowed to be your own boss. You are supposed to work for someone else for the rest of your life, be miserable and never have all the things in life that you want. If you became your own boss then all that would change. You could be happy, fulfilled and running your own business. It’s just wrong.

4. Working Where You Want. I can’t think of anything worse than sitting in the open air with the sun on my face working. No small cubical, no flickering neon light, and no recycled air-condition. How are you supposed to be productive when you can sit outside and work? It gets worse still, imagine sitting in a plane flying to New York or Rome, or Sydney, or London and being able to do you work. Floating down the canals of Venice earning money from you own affiliate marketing business. It’s sickening.

5. Feeling successful. Do you really want to feel successful? I mean, honestly, successful? Wouldn’t you rather work for a boss that puts you down and treats you like rubbish? Success is over rated. Do you really think that successful people are happy? Do you think that they really enjoy doing what they want, when they want? Stay where you are and just lump it. Success, what are you good for?

So that is why affiliate marketing is bad. You have to stay home, set your own hours, be your own boss, work when you want and be successful. Trust me you would hate it. Plus it could be worse; you could become rich from it. That would just be the pits. So stay where you are in that dead end job dreaming of a better future and be happy. Or not.

Labradors are at the moment the most popular dog in the world. They are loved by so many and found to useful in so many area’s including Guide Dogs, companion animals and drug sniffing. However they are just great pets and today I want to share with you why you should have a Lab.

1. Loving. If you ever look into the eyes of a Labrador you will see that it is looking at you with pure love. When Bassy sits at the back door at looks at me I can tell that he is thinking “I love you.” They are a dog that wears it emotions on its sleaves, if dogs have sleaves that is. When they get scared, hurt, or tired and you are there with them, you can just see in their eyes that they are so thankful for you being there and that they love you. Plus they are always so happy to see you when you come home.

2. They Smile. Have you ever though that a dog was smiling at you? Well when it comes to Labs, they are. They learn how mimic smiles and can happily grin at you all day. Its a great feeling to look at your dog and see them smiling back you. It can really lift your spirits. If we are out playing, Bassy will bring back his ball and sit there grinning at me. A big, silly, happy grin. It’s fantastic.

3. Great with Kids. Want to tire out the kids? Then get the toy that never runs out of energy, a Labrador. They are just bundles of exuberance wrapped up in excitement. Labs love kids and kids love Labs. A Labrador will allow itself to be hugged, prodded and poked, and still give love back. They will chase balls for hours and still want more. Bassy never tires, and often I have to sit down well before he does.

4. Great Guard Dogs. Even with their great big wonderful and beautiful floppy ears, Labradors can still hear a pin drop a mile away. They are great at guarding property. They have a great deep bark that scares would be thieves away. As soon as someone steps foot into our yard Bassy goes wild and I have had a few people tell me that he looks scary. I don’t tell them he will only lick them to death, I just let them keep the illusion and let them tell their friends.

5. Loves swimming. Did you know Labrador were bread to help fishermen catch fish? True, that is why they have webbed toes. Give them any opportunity they will jump in water. So that means that when you go to the beach you can take your lab with you. In fact they will probably be in the water more than you will. Bassy loves water and will jump in anything, ever a shower.

I hope that there are enough reasons now for you to want to own a Labrador. They are wonderful, loving, kind and just great pets. They embody the belief of what you put out you get back. Labradors put out love, kindness, friendship and loyalty, and they get it back in kind.

Sebastian Shadwell is a dog on the rise. From a popular following on Facebook, Twitter and his own blog, Bassy has become an international star in his right. Now through popular demand Bassy has released his own clothing range with different clothing for everybody to enjoy.

The front of every shirt has a picture of Bassy sitting proudly with him stating underneath his well known catch phrase, “I is a Good Boy.”

The social networking pooch, the darling of the internet had this to say last night on his release of his clothing range. “I think they look great. I had thunk about doing clothing range for the longerest time and decide that it was a goodly idea. I spoke to dad, internet entrepreneur Terry Shadwell, about doing the clothing and he said yes. He said that I should be running my own business so I can buy my own treats. And as I love treats I thought it was the smarterest thing to do.”

When asked about what he though of the finished clothing Bassy started laughing. “They look good, but of course they do they have me on them. Mind you it was hard getting to that stage as it tooked hours to get the right shot. Next time I won’t use dad, I’ll get a pro.”

Bassy, however, it not the only one to get their own range of clothing. Cleo, Bassy’s long term girlfriend has also received her own range. “She looks very pretty on the clothing”, Bassy stated. “She always looks pretty to me and I love her heaps a lot.”

Cleo herself was very happy and took time out from chasing her ball to talk to us. “It was a hot day doing those photos. However, as a pro I put up with it and it worked out for the best. And to all my fans I want to say I love too also as well”

However not everything is going Bassy’s way. When asked about George P Cat and if he was to get his own clothing Bassy was tight lipped and only had this to say. “George P Cat is bad nasty evil puss. I don’t want him on my clothing range but dad said I had too. But don’t get used to it George P Cat. I’m watching you.”

George P Cat was not available for comment, however, his spokesman said that he was happy to have his own range and was looking at starting his own web site in the future.

So where next for the Prince of Pups? Bassy has stated that he will stick to the internet now as he feeling he has better global reach and can stay in contact with his fans easier. “The internet is simple and easy and I think every dog should have his day on here. Next I will move to YouTube and maybe my own dog training course.” Bassy is also working a short story to be released in the not to distant future.

“I want everybody to know the joy and friendship a dog can bring. I love my mum and dad and they are human. So let continue to bond and make a betterer world. But I’m watching you George P Cat.”
